Description
The 1.5-ton Mini Excavator Ripper is a heavy-duty, single-shank ground-ripping attachment designed for use with compact excavators in the approximately 0.8–1.5 ton operating-weight class.
The ripper is designed to penetrate and fracture hard, compacted and partially frozen ground before excavation with a standard bucket. Its narrow single-point profile concentrates the excavator's breakout force onto a small working area, allowing the operator to loosen material that would otherwise be difficult to excavate with a conventional bucket.
Typical applications include:
- Breaking hard and compacted soil
- Clay and heavily consolidated ground
- Removing small roots and vegetation
- Breaking up weathered ground
- Loosening gravel and compacted fill
- Preparing ground for trenching
