Everything you need to know about 3T Ripper Tooth Attachment hire
Description
The 3-ton Mini Excavator Ripper is a heavy-duty, single-shank mechanical ground-ripping attachment designed for excavators in the approximately 2.5–4.0 tonne operating-weight class, with 3 tonnes as the nominal machine size.
The attachment is designed to concentrate the excavator's breakout force onto a hardened ripping point to penetrate, fracture and loosen difficult ground before excavation with a standard bucket.
It is particularly suitable for:
- Hard compacted soil
- Heavy clay
- Gravel and consolidated fill
- Root-bound ground
- Large roots
- Weathered ground
- Hard landscaping ground
- Trenching preparation
- Utility excavation
- Road and drainage work
- General site preparation
- Breaking ground prior to bucket excavation
The narrow single-point configuration allows the excavator to penetrate material with substantially less contact area than a conventional bucket.
